He began his financial services career at Allstate Insurance Company where he participated in the company's management training program and enjoyed a successful career as a multi-line agent. In 1968, he was recruited by Central National Bank as a business development trust officer, assisting bank customers and their attorneys in formulating their personal estate plans. He left the bank in 1976 to work with executives, professionals, and small business owners in developing and implementing their business and personal financial plans.

In 1994, Jack earned the advanced industry designation of Chartered Life Underwriter® from The American College. The designation is reserved for individuals who have completed an advanced curriculum focusing on insurance, investment, taxation, employee benefits, estate planning, accounting, management and economics. He joined the Tyler-Stone Group in 2004 as a Financial Advisor with LPL Financial where he holds his Series 6, 22 and 63 registrations.

Jack is an active member of the Financial Services Institute and is a member of the John Carroll University - Magis Advisory Committee. He previously served on the planned giving committees for the American Red Cross, American Heart Association and Benedictine High School.
